Since our formation, we have specialised in the provision of maintenance and facilities management services for Registration Social Landlords, Local Authorities and major private sector clients. In what has always been the Cinderella of the construction industry, we have striven to produce an efficient and professional service, and to this end we have achieved ISO 9001:2000, ECA, NICEIC, CORGI, HVCA, NACOSS and Construction online registration.

The company employs in excess of 160 tradesmen all of whom are direct employees. We sub-contract less than ten percent of our work and only where this is specialist work which requires management techniques not covered by our company. Having stated that we employ staff for specialist areas such as asbestos removal, security, catering and commercial gas installations, as well as building, electrical, domestic heating installation and maintenance. All our technicians receive ongoing training throughout their time with us. We are at present reviewing registration for Investors in People and Two Ticks for Disabled Employment.

Although the company does not sub-contract as a rule, we do wish to promote good practice in equal opportunity and therefore we are willing to engage local sub-contractors where this meets our clients' EO policy. We are also confident that we can manage TUPE having assimilated 45 staff from other organisations over the last two years. We have a regular cycle for training and we include our long-term sub-contractors within this. Where a sub-contractor is of sufficient size to avoid this, we see their records to certify that they at least meet, if not exceed, our own standards.

For the past ten years we have pioneered the use of IT for processing of works orders, the production of performance indicators and reports detailing the progress of orders. All of our technicians are issued with hand held communication enabling regular and consistent contact with our technicians and surveyors. We will be developing our website to allow our clients to monitor the progress of their orders, obtain their own performance vehicles are tracked and we can provide detailed activity reports and access appointment confirmation data. Tracker also means that we are protecting our lone workers whilst they are at work.

We have specialised in setting up fast-track offices with full IT links on a custom maintenance database between our remote and head-office locations. This service comes at a cost and we will not be the cheapest contractor, but on a Best Value basis we guarantee quality and deliver with certainty over 96% response when we are fully supported by the contract administrator.
