Over the last 6 years, T A Horn has fostered robust and tangible partnering arrangements with training centres, colleges and manufacturers which has enabled us to train and employ many operatives from a diverse cross section of the community and has made us a major force in changing the perception of women and disadvantaged cultural groups in our communities and introducing them into the gas industry.

Not only have we helped to change the perception of these groups within the industry, we have worked very hard to promote females and we have become known for our open attitude to thinking “outside the box” when it comes to recruiting, retaining and training our staff with considerable success.

This year we have opened our own Training centre and we have won a contract to run three courses over an eighteen month period to train 24 female and lone parent recruits from a deprived area of London.

We have had a lot of support from our Clients, Partners and indeed the CORGI Organisation and long may it continue.
