Rhianna Barclay and Tymika Absalom were thrilled and excited to receive their Young Citizen of The Year Awards from Janet Lord at the first Northwards Housing Tenants Awards.

Rhianna and Tymika attended the awards ceremony with their very proud parents who were delighted with their achievement.

Rhianna and Tymika are both from Charlestown and were nominated due to their hard work participating in community clean-ups, helping older neighbours with their gardens and weeding in the SensoryGarden at the Local Youth Club.

The awards ceremony took place at Heaton Park and formed part of the Northwards AGM.
