Southway Housing Trust, joined the team from The Lord Group in raising much needed funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice by taking part in an abseil from the North Stand of Manchester United Football Ground.

25 members of the team took part including M.D and Deputy M.D, Andrew and Janet Lord, Group M.D. Chris Cheshire, John McKenna of Southway Housing Trust, as well as apprentices, office staff, site managers, directors and on-site staff who were all joined on the day by a great team of supporters made up of family and friends who travelled from all over the North West, Leeds and London to offer encouragement and support throughout the event.

Francis House, who are based in South Manchester, completely rely on fund raising and the generosity of their supporters to enable them to care for the terminally ill children and try to improve the quality of their lives whilst offering much needed help and support to their families.

Although we are still collecting the sponsorship monies, the total is estimated to be in excess of £6,000.
