As one of the contractor partners for IMPACT Manchester, Kinetics Group were more than happy to help raise  £1700 for the Young Oncology Unit (YOU) at Christie Hospital in Withington by entering two teams in a charity football tournament.

The YOU is a specialist ward for young people with cancer and what makes this ward extra special is not only the excellent treatment that they provide, but also the facilities that they have to keep the youngsters occupied and entertained. The money raised will go towards keeping up the excellent facilities that are provided for the young people affected by cancer and their families who visit the ward.

Gerald Deslandes, Corporate Partnerships Manager at The Christie said:

'We are delighted that IMPACT and their partners have organised a football tournament and have come together to raise funds on behalf of The Christie Young Oncology Unit. The money will help us to provide a welcoming environment for children and young people who regularly visit the unit.’

 Nigel Curry, Managing Director, IMPACT Manchester said “I am delighted that we have been able to raise £1700 towards this fantastic cause. It was a great day and saw our partner clients and contractors come together to support a local children’s cancer unit.
