The Lord Group is a family owned and managed business based in Rochdale. We have been operating for over 70 years and employ over 150 people directly, whilst utilizing many other local firms to help us undertake our work. We carry out building refurbishment and painting works.

Over 85% of our work is carried out for social registered landlords. The majority of this work is therefore in or on people’s homes and all of their operatives are trained to work with respect and consideration.

An example of this is our partnership with First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) as part of a continuing programme to raise their housing stock to the Decent Homes Standard.

The Lord Group aims to work closely with residents and offer them whatever choices are available, for example: types of door; gas fire selection and types of external cladding. However, we are restricted to carrying out the types of work necessary to make homes 'decent'.
