A Horn was founded in 1957, during the last 50 years the company has
specialised in the provision of both domestic and commercial gas and
electrical maintenance, repair and installation, the focus of the
business and the core client base being registered social landlords.
From our head office in Barnet, Hertfordshire we currently provide
cyclical planned maintenance and emergency repair to gas and
electrical appliances in 30,000 homes on behalf of local authorities,
housing associations and ALMO’s as well as public buildings and schools
in London, Hertfordshire and Essex with a turnover in excess of £10m.
T A Horn are accredited under the CORGI Certification scheme, the
scheme is equivalent to ISO9001 and is approved by UCAS under the
European Quality Standard EN45001, this standard is also recognised and
preferred by the Audit Commission as a quality system for the
management of gas maintenance and repair contracts. Certification is
awarded as a higher level of registration to ensure the quality of the
management, systems and procedures used within an organisation.
The team at T A Horn have experience in administrating JTC, SPC2000,
TPC2001, TPC2005 and hybrid forms of contract, we are proficient in
managing traditional 5*, 3*, schedule of rates and bespoke contract
types for periods of between 3 and 10 years for contract values in
excess of £3m per annum.
T A Horn currently employs 85 highly trained, ACS accredited, CORGI
registered gas engineers all driving vans clearly displaying the
company name and logo, all operatives wear uniforms also displaying our
logo.
T A Horn have embraced the concept and best practises of Partnering
and have developed a flexible approach to service delivery ensuring
that the customer is at the centre of all processes.
In 2005 T A Horn were awarded CORGI Installer of the Year and have
received further national acclaim for the training and investing within
the communities that we work.
T A Horn has a versatile approach to problem solving, working
closely with our clients and forging long term relationships taking a
non-adversarial approach to disputes within an organisational ethos of
ownership until completion.
